Primitive Wooded Riverfront Tent Sites

Riverfront campsites at Luray RV resort are walk-in to provide the most relaxing and truly primitive camping experience in the Shenandoah Valley. Guests also have the option to rent a golf cart at time of booking or check-in, if available.

We encourage advance reservations due to popularity of our Shenandoah Valley camping sites. 

Only one tent may occupy each site in the primitive area. No day visitors are permitted in the primitive camping area.

Please note that check-in for tent camping areas is available until 9pm. Late arrival check-ins are not available due to guest disturbance during quiet hours. Guests who cannot arrive before 9 pm will be able to check in the next day starting at 9 am.

Pets are not allowed in primitive tent camping.
